ELIGIBLE AREAS FOR RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES
You may submit a new business application for insurance after you have diligently searched the voluntary and surplus lines insurance marketplace for coverage.
All locations within California are eligible for FAIR Plan coverage. However, most locations require three declinations from other insurance carriers, in accordance with guidelines set by the Insurance Commissioner’s order.
Properties Where A Diligent Insurance Market Search Is Required
If you are a producer and submitting an application online, you will be prompted if you need to include the names of three insurance carriers that denied coverage to your client.
