9/19/2023 – New broker portal – The California FAIR Plan has launched a new broker portal, in conjunction with our new Distribution Management System (DMS) and in advance of our incoming Duck Creek Policy system. 9/6/2023 - Payment portal - Please be advised our payment portal provider is experiencing technical difficulties, which is impacting our ability to receive payments. Thank you for your patience as they work on restoring full service levels as soon as possible.

The FAIR Plan is excited to announce our upcoming adoption of the Duck Creek Technologies Policy, Claims, and Billing insurance systems, anticipated to go live in the fourth quarter of 2023. Please review the broker bulletin sent out on 5/8 and complete the requested actions. The bulletin is available under the “Bulletins” tab within the broker portal. Not completing the listed actions may result in interruptions in your access to FAIR Plan systems when Duck Creek launches.

Our office will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5. The broker portal, online payment system, and phone access system for policy information will remain available during this closure. Thank you.

8/15/2023 - Hold and Processing Times - In light of the current market conditions in California, the FAIR Plan is experiencing high call volume, resulting in longer hold times. Additionally, these market conditions have affected policy processing times. We aim to review all submissions within 5 business days, and we encourage brokers to utilize the self-service options within the broker portal. Our focus remains on providing quality service. Thank you for your patience during this period.
