Victoria Roach to Serve as New President of California FAIR Plan

Victoria Roach has been appointed by the California FAIR Plan’s Executive Committee to serve as the association’s next president. Ms. Roach joined the FAIR Plan in 2019 and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Business Operations.

Ms. Roach will assume the new role on March 1, succeeding Anneliese Jivan, who has served as president of the FAIR Plan since 2009 and is retiring at the end of the month.

“It has been my privilege to serve as the FAIR Plan’s president for the past 13 years,” said FAIR Plan President Anneliese Jivan. “Victoria Roach is the perfect fit to lead the FAIR Plan into the future, and her leadership and experience will help ensure a smooth transition and continuity for our employees and policyholders. I am supremely confident that the FAIR Plan will be in good hands under her leadership.”

Ms. Roach brings 30 years of insurance industry experience, including extensive experience in underwriting, human resources and technology, to her new role. Prior to joining the FAIR Plan, Ms. Roach served as director of underwriting and director of product management at Farmers Insurance and was responsible for strategic underwriting direction and development. In addition, Ms. Roach worked in human resources and was the director of eBusiness at Farmers, where she was responsible for developing and implementing technology to support agents and customers.

“I am truly honored to be selected to serve as the FAIR Plan’s next president,” said incoming president Victoria Roach. “I am deeply committed to advancing our mission to ensure all Californians have access to the fire coverage and peace of mind they deserve, and I look forward to continue working alongside our FAIR Plan team and stakeholders to meet the needs of our policyholders.”
